Off-Campus Housing
Luther Home of Mercy has established community housing for adults
with disabilities in a variety of neighborhoods and locations. Homes are
nestled in family-oriented neighborhoods in Oak Harbor, Northwood, Oregon,
Sylvania and Toledo, Ohio.
Each of the fourteen homes provides housing for lower-income individuals in
group settings which serve between 2-4 people each. Many of the homes have been
constructed through grants from the federal Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) and through gifts from generous donors. Most provide rental
subsidies from HUD to assist tenants in rental payments. 
Homemaker/personal care services and transportation can be provided by Luther Home in each of the homes, ensuring the quality staffing and supports needed for successful community-based living.
